Call for Paper

Building on the success of the past edition, also the 2022 conference foresees two separate tracks:

  • Track A with stronger focus on theoretical advances with relatively low TRL and requiring full paper submission. Papers accepted for this track will be published on IEEE Xplore.
  • Track B addressing mainly industrial developments with higher level of technological maturity based on extended abstract submission.

Topics of interest include:
  • Adaptive antennas and MIMO
  • Advanced PHY/MAC techniques
  • SDR-based ground and space components
  • Flexible, intelligent and reconfigurable payloads for integrated B5G/6G satellite networks
  • Network slicing, orchestration and radio resource management
  • SDN/NFV and network disaggregation
  • Cloud continuum (e.g. orbital edge computing)
  • Optical communications and transport networks (e.g., HYDRON)
  • Ultra-high throughput satellite systems (e.g. EHF band and optical feeder links)
  • Massive Internet of Space Things (IoTS)
  • Mega-Constellations and vLEO/HAPS swarms
  • 3D Integrated B5G/6G satellite networks
  • Standardization and regulatory issues
  • Satellite demonstrations and trials
  • Secure and resilient satellite connectivity
  • Satellite-augmented vehicular communications
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to SatCom
  • Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces for satellite communications
